Soul Refraction Commission

A private encounter through art, presence, and time.

This is not a service.
Not a healing session.
Not an artwork created to meet expectations.

A Soul Refraction Commission is a one-of-a-kind artwork
created through presence, intuition, and attentive listening.

It does not explain.
It does not promise outcomes.

It exists as a quiet meeting point
between perception and form.

What This Is

A Soul Refraction Commission is an original artwork
created slowly and privately, without direction or revision.

Each piece emerges through a single, uninterrupted process —
allowing color, movement, and structure to arrive on their own.

The work is not designed to represent who you are.
It is not symbolic.

It simply holds space
for what is already present to be seen more clearly.

What This Is Not

This work is not:

  • A therapeutic or healing service

  • A collaborative design process

  • A symbolic portrait or narrative artwork

  • An experience designed to produce specific results

Nothing is adjusted to preference.
Nothing is revised.

The piece completes itself.

How the Work Emerges

Each commission begins without a concept or desired outcome.

The artwork is created through attentive presence:
listening first, allowing form to follow.

There are no drafts for approval.
No iterations.
No corrections.

The work arrives when it is complete.

What unfolds afterward belongs entirely to the viewer.

How the Work May Take Form

Each commission takes one of the following forms:

Drawings

Mixed media on paper
Approx. 20 × 25 inches
Framing included

Paintings

Oil on canvas
Standard size: 24 × 30 inches

Larger formats — including 30 × 40, 36 × 48,
or multi-panel works — may be considered upon alignment.

Scale is not a preference.
It is part of how the work arrives.

Stained Glass

Handcrafted stained glass work
Approx. 24 inches on the long side
Custom sizing available upon alignment

This form arises as an artistic outcome, not as a site-specific or architectural commission.

Each medium follows its own rhythm and timeline.

Investment

Pricing reflects time, materials, and process.

  • Drawings begin at $8,000

  • Paintings and stained glass begin at $15,000

There are no tiers, packages, or add-ons.

The form is chosen through alignment — not upselling.

Waiting Period

Soul Refraction Commissions are created selectively.

Current waiting time is approximately 3–6 months,
depending on medium, scale, and existing commitments
(including institutional and public projects).

Waiting is part of the work.

Conversation Before Commitment

Before any commission proceeds,
a short alignment conversation is required.

This is not a consultation or sales call.

Its purpose is clarity — on both sides.

Not every application proceeds.
Saying no is part of maintaining the integrity of the work.

How to Be Considered

Soul Refraction Commissions are accepted by application only.

If this work feels aligned,

👉 [Apply for Consideration]

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

If the timing and work are aligned,
you’ll be contacted when space opens.

This work does not ask to be chosen.

It waits to be met.

If you feel drawn,
you’ll know how to proceed.

If not,
this page has already done its work.
