A Refraction Commission is a one-of-a-kind original work created within my abstract practice. Drawing from a lifelong dedication to art and design spanning over 35 years, each piece is a live generation—an intuitive synthesis where decades of technical mastery meet the immediate resonance of the encounter.
Each commission begins with a paper study. This is a disciplined immersion into the present moment, leveraging a deep visual vocabulary built over a lifetime of creation to capture the initial frequency of the work.
The process is focused and uninterrupted. I approach each canvas not with a script, but with a presence that allows the work to manifest as a direct, sophisticated refraction of the current context.
